蝶形线

蝶形线指下列两类平面曲线。

六次型

由隐式方程

$y^6=x^2-x^6$.

给出。

指数型

蝶形线（极角变动若干个周期后得到的结果）

这种类型由 Temple H. Fay 发现。可用下列参数方程表示：

$\begin{array}{cc}x& =\sin t(e^{\cos t}-2\cos 4t-{\sin }^5\frac{t}{12})\\ y& =\cos t(e^{\cos t}-2\cos 4t-{\sin }^5\frac{t}{12})\end{array}$

也可以写成极坐标形式：

$r=e^{\sin \theta }-2\cos 4\theta +{\sin }^5\frac{2\theta -\pi }{24}$

或: $r=e^{\cos \theta }-2\cos 4\theta +{\sin }^5\frac{2\theta -\pi }{24}$
