古埃及人也用荷魯斯之眼來計數。古埃及人將荷魯斯之眼拆解為6個部份，每個部份各代表著一個[[分數]]，構成一個[[等比級數]]，相加起來便是一個荷魯斯之眼，代表著[[1]]。<ref>Zaslavsky, Claudia (1993).
